I'll have to check out his fights with Konadu today. One of them is up on Youtube but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

In his prime, Kirkland Laing. Shame he blew hot and cold, the man had great skills.

Actually, I think Laing is more 'wasted potential' then great H2H, still, gives you guys something to think about (even if I admit I am wrong lol)

Norton and Frazier come to mind.
Edwin Viruet was alway tough to beat and did well against Duran.

Frazier was clearly a great fighter. Norton was more or less just a bad stylistic matchup for a past prime Ali (and many of the more pure boxing types), similarly to how big punchers were bad stylistic matchups for him.

He's extremely similar to Sasakul in style.Excellent defensive fighter, though form the little i've heard said about him, he apparently was completely lacking in dedication.

the stoppage against Konadu was far too quick.Konadu did have a good style for the cuties though. He just threw so many quality jabs and right hands, always pressuring and initiating everything, while being skilled enough not to get repeatedly countered.

Dpends on whom is considered truly great. If anyone thinks Fenech and Qawi fall short then they make a good shout.

    Joey Giaderllo.

Exclellent boxer this cat...His fight with Dick tiger is a classic.Beautiful counter-puncher with sweet movement and a great left jab.On his day he could give any MW in history a run for his money.Outpointed the rugged Rubin "Hurricane"Carter..never mind what the movie says.He was the goods.

Kalambay is another great example. Sumbu was a brilliant technician.

    I'll second that.

How about David Tua? He isn't a great fighter, but he could probably KO just about anyone he gets to.

I think that Oliver McCall deserves a mention at HW - iron chin, hreat stamina, relentless and aggressive, can pack a punch and showed that he can pull upsets - Lewis in 1994
