Jason ''Two Smooth'' Booth Boring?

    Gary Davies the man who stopped Martin Power earlier this month is in line for a commonwealth title shot against Jason Booth. I just read an article in which Davies claims Booth is boring which i personally diagree with do you lads think Booths boring? i feel Booth has put on some great fights and is one of the better technical fighters we've had at domestic level over the last few years.

    Davis said: “I watched Booth defend his title against Sean Hughes on the same night I battered Power and to be honest I would have knocked them both clean out that night.
    “They danced around for 10 rounds and I nearly fell asleep. Booth’s boring to watch and just throws the odd jab, he never lets combinations go. But he’ll know what combinations are when I get him in the ring.
    “I was sent over to Dublin as cannon-fodder for Power. He was supposed to beat me and set himself up for a showdown with Booth early next year, but I ruined those plans and I am going to ruin Booth, too.

    may i just say im starting to dislike Davies alot, The antics after the Power win now this aint cutting it for me. To me Power could of been beaten by anyone that night as i think he's hit a wall in his boxing career. I know boxing needs the hype at times but this guy has one good win and getting a little excited about himself.

    I think Booth isn't going anywhere fast.....

    lool at the wbo's ranking of napa and booth, it's so far wrong it's laughable.

    I wouldn't say he is especially boring.

    He isn't exciting either.......

    Probably ahead of Junior Witter in that category.

    Napa is sneaking up those rankings. Maybe he'll get a shot. Can't see him winning but he deserves a go, he'd paid his dues.

    Booth is a decent domestic operator.

    Hardly describe him as 'boring' !

    Yeah he's ok.. he's got a bit of pop and is a nice body puncher. I think he's ok... I also think Davies is been outspoken to get his name thrown about ... fair play. I'd like to see him get a shot.

    i was ringside for the booth fight in dublin and to be honest i nearly fell asleep, hes not the force he used to be so would like to see booth vs davis, oh and booth did call davis out in his post fight interview!

    Maybe you were all tired out from celebrating your mates win :roll:

    I enjoyed that fight, a good technical display from Booth as he broke Hughes down and then started to put on the pressure, and put him away. Good performance imo.

    i thought booth looked really classy in his last fight enjoyed it far from boring i thought first time ive seen that davis looked heavy handed think them 2 styles would match up really well look forward 2 that if it happens
