I think Mayorga has the edge on speed and experience ... Angulo doesn't look that fast but he's aggresive, young, and hungry.

Mayorga will make it a slugfest and his chin is pretty sturdy ... Angulo's chin has never been tested but his upside looks good.

I like Angulo, he's not superfast and could be a little busier in the ring but his style is straight up, compact strong accurate punches, works to the body really well and from what i've seen his chin is solid.

I doubt Mayorga can motivate himself like he did for Mosley. The hunger and strength of the younger fighter makes all the difference for me here.

    Hard to say.
I don't know who is training Mayorga for this one,if it's Garibaldi and if he comes in the shape he came against Mosely than he wins by KO.This fight is one of the few in which Mayorga has a style advantage unlike DLH,Mosley,Vargas,Picirillo,Spinks etc.
After I see a few training videos and who is training him I will make a pick.It is also very hard for him to get motivated now.If he doesn't do these Angulo will KO him late.

Mayorga's chin stopped being sturdy after the Trinidad fight.

Mayorga fighting this soon after Mosley must mean hes serious which is good since Tito he has fought exactly once a year about every 10-12 months at the soonest.

Getting wobbled by every shot Hoya lands, and getting stopped by Mosley, who's power never really carried to 147, at 154?

Mayorga will get knocked out by Angulo. It's not only his chin that is shot, which happened after Trinidad, but he has nothing left now.

He wasn't 100% with Oscar, and he didn't get ''wobbled by every shot''.He took plenty of shots till it got stopped. He took even more from Mosley for 12 rounds and took them well.It doesn't matter if they don't punch hard in one punch as the acumulation power is good altough his chin before Trinidad was super human. After and now it is just very good.I can bet if Angulo KO's him it takes him at least 7 rounds

I like the look of Angulo he's already got a bit of an aura about him, He looks cool and calculated and can ****ing bang, but 14 pro fight's (47 round's) in and he's being put in against Mayorga!!!
His people obviously have a lot of faith in him and he's definitely someone with a bright future but i think it's a little early for this fight.
It's got to go down to which Mayorga comes to fight like Thunder has already posted, and maybe Angulo's people are taking a gamble on this.
This one could be an early FOTY candidate.
