Angulo v Mayorga

Mayorga is absolutely finished.

He is getting knocked out.

 

That is your opinion.
I will make my pick just before the fight.
But he did look good or at least better than Most people were expecting with Mosley and was arguably beating him.

 

Mayorga is definitely not finished. He gave Mosley a run for the money, and Angulo has nowhere near the skill or experience as Shane. If Mayorga comes in in good shape and motivated, he can take out the younger, far less experienced fighter. But you never know which Mayorga is going to show up on any given night.

 

I will make a note to bring this up after the fight. I have nothing against Mayorga, he's exciting as hell, but he's finished. He scraped past finished Vargas, he got destroyed by Trinidad and Hoya, and Mosley who was outweighed significantly, knocked him out. It's been a great ride, but it's over.

 

You understand I haven't made a pick on the figt right?

 

Hopefully, you're no longer in denial after his bout with Angulo. You can only get KTFO so many times, and once was enough for Mayorga, let alone three times.

Like I said, we'll see after the fight.

 

Irrespective of who you pick, I would like to discuss Mayorga after the fight. It will be interesting to see if you think he isn't finished after getting knocked out for the fourth time, and now against an untested Angulo.

 

He is definetely finished if he gets KO'd by Angulo but even if he losses by decision it's about the same.Mayorga's style leads to him getting KO'd.

 

I cannot see Angulo losing this fight. He hits very hard himself, is a natural 154lb, and he will stop Mayorga inside 5. :good

Not in denial: I'm certainly not a big Mayorga fan, but Mayorga always has a chance. Does anybody really know what kind of chin Angulo has?

shaw is inlove with puncher and alwys tries to rush his puncher into fights. which sometimes can be a bad thing

 

He took alot a decent shots from Tsurkan and didn't flinch. Untested against a genuine puncher but looks the goods so far.
