This is why I want to see Floyd fight Pacquiao at 140 specifically.

Because sometimes Floyd chooses to fight, but it was mostly at 140 that he fought essentially toe to toe, in every single fight. That was the last round of the Gatti fight. You can find parts 1 and 2 at Youtube if you search Mayweather Gatti. Notice when they show Cotto in those videos. Does it look like Cotto wanted to fight Floyd. Cotto didn't look like he wanted to fight him, considering what he was witnessing. Cotto at 140, just didn't have anywhere near the skills to compete with Floyd because Floyd tends to fight in this offensive style when he feels that you have punches that can actually hurt him, or when he feels offended or slighted that people are touting a fighter as a Floyd beater. I'm quite sure that he would be insulted by the fact that Manny is now P4P, and would seek to fight offensively. I love that because both of them are 2 of my favs.

    MAKE THE FIGHT ALREADY!!

Edit: Seems like the first video isn't working, check it out at the link where it is working.

It doesn't matter if Floyd fights him at 140 or 147. Unless Floyd had packed on some muscle weight.

Gatti was like close to being shot or already shot in this fight. Plus the fact that this guy is seen slow like Mayweather. If PBF feels your power, then he would fight in a defensive mode. If Pac has that power, then PBF will fight him defensively. If Pac cant hurt him, then this is how he might fight.

Floyd is a pure boxer. He stands in there right in front of you after he has worn his opponents down. He is the smartest fighter in the game, and that is why he is/was pfp the best fighter in the world when he was fighting.

The fight is better at 140, but only after Pac fights Hatton.

Pac will be fine at 147. Personally I think Floyd stops him, he will start opening up after Pac has won the first two or three rnds, by the 7th or 8th Roach will have seen enough and will save Manny for another day.

    Hopefully Pac would win though!

It's going to be a fight for the ages if they fight at 147. Both are prime and ready!

Basically Floyd's best win at 140 is over a completely shot to **** fighter who was never considered elite.

I'd like to see Mayweather take a tune-up within' or before May just to gauge him...
(I have my doubts about both his desire & in-ring rust)

Floyd of OLD can do wonderful thing's in the ring....
But can and inactive & OLDer Floyd still do it?

That's if the rumors of a comeback are true, and not just wishfull thinking by his followers.

140 was only a stop for Floyd. He came to 140 to fight Cotto whose people turned down the fight.

Floyd's bodyfat is lower than Oscars, he'd have to burn muscle to go to 140, at least i think.
