He will be training with Freddie Roach in the US and have some fights there and some fights here. I think he goes over in the next couple of weeks to do some training.

There will be word about his Aus title soon as well

Who said he will be training with Freddy Roach, I heard he will be doing some training with ****** Fortune who has left Freddy and has his own gym now in Las Vegas.

He will also be training at Lake Arrowhead where his new Manager Stuart Duncan owns a camp.

I am pretty sure he will be fighting under Dan Goosen's Promotions:thumbsup

There is about 1000 registered Boxers in Australia give or take,
In the states there is the same amount of registered Heavyweights, do the maths and it's quite a smart move for a guy with no amateur background.

very true, He could make alot of exciting match-ups with american journeyman/up and comers and possibly mature into quite a good fighter, i think it would be beneficial for all of our top 5 to seek fights in america

Hoppa wouldn't beat any of the recognised heavies in Australasia . Haumono ,Cameron,Meehan , Leapai a fit Colin Wilson even AFL player Barry Hall would probably give him a touch up after a eight week preparation. And there's a big chance Big Bob would turn the tables in a rematch. Hoppa is 33yrs old & you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Good luck to him if he thinks he can make some bucks in the U.S.A. but they would want to pick his opponents very carefully. There'll be some pretty mean journeymen heavies over there waiting to give him a boxing lesson. David Tua & Jimmy Thunder he ain't. And pleeeese pleeeese don't become a big mouthed blowhard like a certain super middle from Sydney we all know.

    Now this I agree with.

If Bob fought Hoppa the way he fought Cameron, Hoppa would have gone down. And he will in the rematch.

If they come properly prepared, and with a ref who won't allow the same rough tactics used in the first fight, I believe so.
