British fighters who underachieved/wasted their talent?

    I've met him before, I've heard some fabulous stories about him. I never saw him fight and yes he seems one tough dude. His record makes impressive reading. :good

    went over to the darkside a bit though.
    as a boxer he was a fantastic welterweight ( i think ), very hard punch and think he only lost once didn't he ? top fighter, shame about the nocturnal activities. he could have been a british great

    A good friend of mine whom I have lost touch with, Paul Burke beat him- as did manning Galloway.

    quite right, Burke in his third fight then Galloway much later for the WBO . seems thats where it started to go wrong for Pat, lost 2 of his last 6 after that and retired.
