i think you should make him your leader he seems to ahve the best judgement of chins iut of you and rico.
I don't see anyone being more iron-jawed than Andrade. Watch the Kessler fight. That has to be the most monster shots I have seen a guy take. Any other fighter would not have been allowed to continue by his corner. Some people say it was sickening to see the shots Margarito walked through against Cotto but damn Andrade was way worse. He should get Bute's next fight!
lol.. rico, how many ****ing IDs do you have? actually, wait... this zakman's alter ID. The post is too well written to be an alter of rico's..
RJJ doesnt belong in the glass Jaw section. He was koed only when he was already shot, jUSt like SRL Developing a glass chin when he was way past his prime.
Im gonna have to disagree on this. I simply CANNOT put someone who's been KO'd twice by non-events and knocked down by a jab in the "Good chin" catergory. However These events did happen a while ago, and whilst I said Pac has shown a much better chin in recent times I will reiterate this statement. Pac has shown a good chin recently. Whether this is to do with weight or simply being more prepared to take punches is a different arguement. DINAMATA, could you imagine using the excuse that because Amir Khan is young now in 10 years time would you say that he hasnt got a below-par chin just because he wasnt KO'd recently ? Pac has an average chin to me at the moment; if he survives Hatton I'll once again reconsider my position. I believe thats fair Ironically as I was saying earlier, the JMM-Pac comparison is the most interesting I've done. For me, despite getting knocked down by Pac 4 times over 2 fights, this proved that Marquez has an ok chin as Pac is such a puncher at the weights they fought at. Yet Pac surviving Marquez's pinpoints accurate shots also shows that he has no shaky chin either, which nullifies my earlier comments about Pac and shows that he is one of the few cases where a fighter has actually IMPROVED their chin. Weird huh ? hehe.
I disagree. Pac was a skinny teenager and was KO'd twice by bodyshots, and one of those fighters was not a "non-event". Since then, he has fought Marquez twice, Barrera twice, Morales 3 times, and De La Hoya - and never been down. He has changed completely from a skinny teenage flyweight to an immensely tough and muscled lightweight/light-welterweight - he is a different fighter now. The proof is in the pudding - when was the last time you saw him hurt?? 11 years ago maybe you could criticize his chin, but at this present moment, his chin is excellent. It is - just watch his recent fights. To say his chin is on par with Hatton's (did you see the Lazcano and Collazo fights??) and inferior to Mayweather's (did you see the Corley or Judah fights??) is just wrong IMO.
hatton and pac should at least be in good chins hatton never gets hurt by a single punch hes only been hurt in late rounds when he has taken many power punches and has only been down twice in his entire carrer the same applys for pac we dont no how good mayweathers chin is because hes got an amazing deffence
He's still been KO'd twice and knocked down by a jab. Had that happened to Hatton or Mayweather whether it was 1-2-10 years ago, they would be ranked accordingly.
Hmmm, you're not really getting this... How does being KO'd by bodyshots have anything to do with a fighter's chin??
And was the straight shot that put Pac down that you are referring to really any less forceful a punch than the punch Judah momentarily dropped Mayweather with, or any punches thrown by Juan Lazcano that had Hatton looking like he had drank a bottle of vodka??
Call it what you want, it was a jab. It was nothing like the shot that Judah put Mayweather down with (Yes I agree it was a knockdown) but look at how Mayweathers leaning low, he was already off-balance. Had Mayweather been knocked down by a jab I would seriously review his position. Hatton may have been on ***** street at some points, but he was never actually knocked DOWN against Lazcano or against Collazo which saves him from the shaky list IMO.
i only say fighters have a jaw if they get knocked down early by a single shot if some one looks hurt after a long hard fight thats just natural which is the case for hatton and pac
