anyone who picks gomez is living in the past. He has nothing left, did nothing against Khan appart from knock him down and really took a bad beating. I've seen him against Baz Kerry too where he looked a shadow of himself. Burns will win this wide on points.

i've never been to a boxing match but i'm determined to make this my first one, with all the chat going on in here about it, its gonna be good!

Hello Curtis, its always good to have pros on the forum :good I saw you fight twice 2 years ago at Barnsley...first time might even have been your debut (Ryan Rhodes topped the bill 2nd time) and was really quite impressed. Couple of questions if I could: Have you settled at welter or are you drifting more towards LMW? and when are you fighting next, and will it be a step up for you?

err, Gomez is in fact irish, I thought the Shamrock shaved into the back of his head & the irish tricolour long shorts would have been a dead giveaway...
