Hatton being knokced down against pbf was more to do with floyds accuracy and timing than hatton having a weak chin

 

Would that same punch with the same accuracy and timing have put a dent in Margarito? No. Because he has a granite chin and Hatton's is merely pretty good. Does Hatton looking like he had drank a bottle of vodka against Juan Lazcano have more to do with Lazcano's accuracy and timing than Ricky's chin?

 

hattons chin doesnt compare to margaritos but being hurt only a few times in your carrer for someone who has little to no dfense is pretty good

 

Yes it is, I agree, that's why I have stated repeatedly on this thread that i think Hatton has a good chin. It is not iron/granite like Toney's, it is not excellent/strong like Pacquiao's, it is the next level down IMO, a good chin.

 

maybe not but as you say margarito has a granite chin the floyd shots might have done the same to someone on the level bewlos margo just becuase of the speed and accuracy.

 

Floyd didn't manage to inflict a similar KO in any of his other fights at 147 or higher: De La Hoya, Judah, Baldomir. And we've already seen De La Hoya wiped out by Pacquiao and Judah has been KO'd in his career. This suggests me that Hatton (unlike guys like De La Hoya and Pacquiao) does not belong in that second category.

The more compelling evidence is to be found in the Collazo and Lazcano fights however. A second-tier chin would not have been knocked onto ***** St in those fights, simple as.

baldomir is in the top chin catergory though isn't he, dela hoya would be above hatton as well, judah maybe worse but he is alot faster than hatton.

This Pacfan has not "defended all things Pac", I have stated my reasons for saying that Pac has a strong chin and that he should be in your second category as his chin is the equal of guys like Mayweather, Guzman and Diaz (at least), and is clearly better than that of Hatton or Dawson.

You on the other hand came out with some old bollocks about being KO'd twice, were proven wrong, hung on desperately to one solitary KD from years ago as if that means more that years of hard evidence of a strong chin, and then just gave up.

You say "young" love, but refusing to amend your initial stance in the face of formidable evidence is the hallmark of a fanboy infant.
