Is David Haye the signature fight that Wlad has been looking for?

With all of the hype surrounding this fight, it seems to be the case. What do you think?

Personally, I feel that this fight would be so much bigger, and even more hyped if Haye would win at least ONE fight against a top contender at Heavyweight. It would be awesome if they could set up a card sometime around late March, or April... where they both fight top contenders on the same card... in a high profile HBO event.

    Wlad vs Arreola

Haye vs Povetkin, Peter, Brock, Chambers, Toney, ect... anyone along those lines.

Wlad wants nothing to do with David Haye IMO.What has Arreola done to get a shot at the man in the division anyway?Wlad would destroy him

Fighting in the same card would make fight bigger.
But I think it is already, most significant fight in Wladimirs title reign.

Widdow: who do you think Wlad will end up fighting?

I think he'll fight Haye or Arreola in May. Then Povetkin in September.

No way. It is David Haye. The guy is a Glass Jawed Cruiserweight who because of his mouth has somehow got him in position for a title shot. Beating a faded Monte Barrett does not prove anything nor should you get a title shot.

You are the biggest bum of the Haye-ites. You will have to eat a huuuge crow soon. According to Booth Wlad-Haye is on soon.

Haye needs another fight first. Because if he fights Wlad, when Wlad whoops his ass people are going to be saying "Oh Haye was green!"

That would make sense except Povetkin was supposed to be Wlad's next fight after whomever he fights next.

Signature? Not at the moment. It would depend on what Haye does in the future. No resume at HW at the moment. Not to say it couldn't be an interesting fight, which COULD raise its significance.

Wlad may have no choice but to fight Haye soon.Who else is out there after bums like Arreola?Povetkin and Haye are the only men who could even test Wlad.
I haven't said anything crazy like Haye will destroy him etc. because I don't see it happening

I think he may think so but Haye is still unproven at HW....so there will be many critics should he win against David saying that David wasn't proven or that David isn't a true HW ect.ect. ect....unfortunately Wald has a lot of detractors due to his style.....many don't want to see him win. But Wald is a smart fighter and fights intelligently to get the "W". His brother had more excitment and praise b/c his style is more exciting although more risky.

I'd like to see the Haye vs Wald fight, but I think this may be too premature for David...and they could have built this fight up a bit more to make it more important. You gotta love David willing to jump in there with someone like Wald this early on in his campaign at HW.

Have you been kept away from recent news? Stop keeping the same month old argument going. Do you have an answer for the topic?

Haye will win this: his talent, speed and lateral movement will see him through. However, I strongly believe that neither Klit would duck Haye. I think they have enough confidence they would beat him - Wlad wants to fight him for the cash and a great scalp. I don't believe for a second that they duck anyone, and I don't think there's any evidence of them ever doing so.

To make this a bigger fight, I'd have liked to have seen Wlad v Povetkin and Haye v Arreola on the same card, with the winners facing off.
