Marquez turned down a Pac rematch, that's why he ended up fighting John for peanuts.

Nacho turned down the offer Arum made to Marquez. He hardly gave J.M.M a raise from his purse for the first fight. Arum raised PAc's purse which disturbed Nacho. Get your facts straight. They eventually agreed on a rematch...later.

You see, people believe what they want to believe without knowing the economics of boxing. If J.M.M makes $750.000 the first time, why should he only get $850.000 for the MAIN EVENT OF A PPV CARD!!!!!!!!

That's the TRUTH. That's another form of ARUM saying we don't want the rematch

this is so far the best post I've ever read coming from you...you're not really that bad. Although you're leaning on somebody else, I see you have that FAIR spot in you. Peace! :good

I agree with what you say here, but this doesn't conflict with what I said. I never said it was a fair offer, I just said that he turned down an offer to rematch Pac, which led directly to him fighting Chris John for less than 1/20th of what he would have received in a Pac rematch.

Because OBVIOUSLY he didn't have any better options out there. Arum held the nuts and he knew it. Turns out he was right. Imagine how much better Marquez's career and earnings might be right now if he had immediately beaten Pac in a rematch rather than losing to a no-name for no money?

I said now natural. There's no way he can drop below 135 now, which is why it is now his natural weightclass. Marquez looks toned and strong at 135. Dropping below 135 could spell trouble, hence why he won't do it.

No, I don't no that. Because it won't happen. As I said, Marquez won't drop below 135, and no way is Chris 'No Balls' John stepping up from 126. Not when all the best fighters - Linares, Guerrero etc - have moved up.

Haven't you heard of upsets happening in boxing? James 'Buster' Douglas, although a very capable fighter - although he lacked consistency - wasn't on Tyson's level, especially an almost prime Tyson, yet he upset the odds and knocked him out in 10 rounds to become heavyweight champion.

Do you not understand either that sometimes judges get the fight completely wrong? Reid vs Ottke for example, Valuev vs Holyfield, Whitaker vs Ramirez.

A 100% Juan Manuel Marquez knocks out a 100% Chris John in any weight class they meet at.

Now remember, David Diaz got LUCKY against Santa cruz ,understand?

Zahir Raheem kicked morales' ass while pac got his ass beat. He was bruised and bloodied, looking at the ref looking for sympathy. Pac wanted to quit in the first morales fight.

raheem didnt kick morales ass.. i only saw morales hurt 1 time in that fight, ill say mayweather vs gatti.. that is an ass kicking...

pac was cut in the fifth fought through the 12th winning some rounds, almost knocking morales out in the 12th... now that is quiting for you...

pac knocked jmm 4 times in 24 rounds, yeah i know jmm won more rounds.. but 1 knock down in a round is 10-8, 3 times thats 10-6, and its part of the game
