that interview was done right after the dlh fight. the latest interview says pac wants to fight margo after and in case he beats both hatton and mayweather
it could happen this year. i'm confident about pac beating hatton. and i'm confident PBF would fight pac should pac beat hatton. i'm giving Pac a 50-50 chance against the returning PBF. should he win, by all means, pac-margo wouldn't seem an like out-of-this-world bout. it would be the next logical step IMO, or cotto.
After Mosley beats Margo, and Pac beats Hatton I see Pac/Mosley/Mayweather all doing some serious negotiating.
Then I see Cotto beating Margo also in a rematch and getting the guy who doesn't fight out of that three.
I think Roach is right. Its not the same DLH at this stage than Margarito at this stage. Not matter how good Pacman is. Too dangerous but I guess if the money is good PAC will go fot it. It's like the difference between Roy Jones going up to heavyweight to fight John Ruiz and making him fight a prime Mike Tyson.
Easy for him to say, since it's less than even odds that he would beat both, and even if he does, it's probably less than even odds that Margo goes without a loss and is still able to make 147 by the time that happens.
