the sport of MMA makes a list like this very hard to make, because Wanderlei Silva was the most devistating fighter in the world for three years, there is no way chuck was better than him.

also Nog was unstopable before he lost to Fedor.

    my list would be different.

Im a staunch PRIDE fan. BUT Chucks resume IS better than Silva`s. That being said Silva had a LONG and dominant reign in PRIDE that include forays up at heavy with victorys over guys like Fujita and his first draw with CC. Solid cases can be made for both but Cuck does have the better names on his resume at 205 than Silva.

He ranked him 6. This isnt the first time recently you have missed something Scur you alright ? Rich in the top 20 is ok with me but is he tied with Nogueira ? That is bull**** Nog is top 10 IMO. Henderson is to accomplished to be that low I dont think either Gracie deserves to be ranked in the top 10. Taking that list of fighters id rank it like this.

    1. Fedor Emelianenko
    2. Randy Couture
    3. Dan Henderson
    4. Anderson Silva
    5. BJ Penn
    6. Chuck Liddell
    7. Matt Hughes
    8. Georges St.Pierre
    9. Wanderlei Silva
    10. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
    11. Rampage Jackson
    12. Frank Shamrock
    13. Tito Ortiz
    14. Kazushi Sakuraba
    15. Ken Shamrock
    16. Bas Rutten
    17. Rich Franklin
    18. Royce Gracie
    19. Mark Coleman
    20. Dan Severn
    21. Rickson Gracie

That said Chuck beat him and neither guy was at their peak so theres no real excuse there Chuck deserves a higher ranking although I wont put up a huge arguement if Wanderlei where to be ranked higher because of his Heavyweight fights.

Wandy particpated in the middleweight and OW tournys which were far more gruelling than anything Chucks ever faced. On paper Chuck has some quality names no doubt about that. There recent encounter doesnt mean anything though. Shame this fight never happened when they were both in there primes. But we all know what happened to Chuck in the middleweight tourny :)

No im not hes extremly accomplished at 2 weights man so many big wins and title wins at that. He wont stay there for long though I expect Silva,GSP,Penn to pass him by very soon. Make no mistake though theres a HUGE difference between my 1 and 2 right now **** I could drop Couture out of the top 5 but thats just how I see it dont try and make me feel bad.

Why doesnt it ? They fought each other they still had some fight in them and Chuck won clearly. They might be fighting in March will you change your opinion if Wanderlei wins because of your Pride bias :yep
