Which would be understandable if he didn't only fight 2 times from Nov. 2001 until Feb of 2004.

Lewis has the best heavyweight record (200+ lbs opponents) of them all.

    Only Wladimir Klitschko comes close.

Lennox is approximately twice as good as Ali.

Yeah, but this is a general problem with Lewis: That he only has so little fights.

Because Tyson got the belts one by one and had to fight for each one ! Then, he kept those belts by fighting anyone without exception...

It are members like Widdow that give the Klitschko's a bad name and create haters.
Lewis was very very good and dominated the division, Vitaly was still leading on points but Lewis was getting the better part of the fight and Vit's last rounds weren't that impressive anymore.
I do like both Klitschko's very much but a bit realism never hurted anyone.

I like Lewis better than Ali myself, I think he'd win head to head.

If unifying a world title piece by piece is how we quantify what a lineal champion is, then what does that make champions from a different era when only one belt existed? I think a lineal champion is basically defined by the concept of beating the man who beat the man who beat the man, etc. While collecting plastic trinckets one by one is certainly impressive in its own way, it really does not make one person any more of a champion than a guy who also beat the best, but in a different capacity.

In certain past different eras, there was only one belt to get, therefore yes I agree the lineal champ is without a doubt the best because he had to not only beat the best to get the belt, but he also needs to keep beating the best to keep that one and only belt !!

In the Tyson era, there were 3 major belts and the best fighters were spread around the rankings of those 3 belts. Beating 3 champs instead of one is a much more difficult accomplishment in my book ! Foreman became the lineal champ by winning his belt at 44 years of age...Did that make him the best heavy ? Certainly not in my book !! Then Morrison beat Foreman. Did that make HIM the best out there ? No way for me !!! When Tyson beat the official 3 champs, it made every other talented heavyweight fighter need to go through him, there was no escaping, that means Tyson also couldn't escape from fighting the best to keep his 3 belts !! From 1986 to 1990, TYSON NEVER EVER HAD THE INTENTION TO DROP A BELT AT ANY GIVEN TIME !!! We can't say the same for Lewis' reign on top after he beat Holyfield.....

That was a classless reply, no doubt it tested the full extent of your KLIT-ite intellect coming up with it.

...and you should stop fantasizing that Presscot is gay, he will not be joining your KLIT-ite circle jerk anytime soon.

I should be more understanding though, what else can be expected of a fan and follower of the idiot known as Boxfarmer...??? :good

God dang the man pretty much beat the only 2 men that plastered his ass in the ring and he went on to get his sweet revenge returning the favor, proving his losses were flukes. There is no doubt vitali was closest in beating him, but the man was already towards the end of his career, and whether he grazed vitali or not get over it, that happends in boxing. C'mon, your just jealous because the klits don't have dreadlocks. As if they're reign is any better. :bart
