If Santos trains properly and doesn't dry himself out to fast to make weight, this should be a good one. I will go with Martinez via UD due to his great work rate and thumping jab, but Santos has the edge in punching power and I'm not sure how good Martinez's chin is since the only fight I saw him in (the Bunema fight) it wasn't really tested all that much.

Santos is a late sub, he is not going to have much time to train for this fight.

This is what boxing is supposed to be about: great fighters willing to fight other great fighters. Santos should be applauded. That said, I have Martinez by UD or late tko.

Late sub? He's the WBA champ man. Assuming we're talking about daniel.

This is a good fight, I am very excited about it, I wanted to see Joe Green a little more but I think for real boxing fans this the fight that should be happening. The Margarito factor is also interesting as well. I got Sergio Martinez by UD.

I like this fight much better than Green cuz he seems like a hypejob to me. The lacy type.

    Martinez UD Santos

He is, but he still doesnt have much time to prepare for this fight. I read in an article that the fight will not be for the title, and that his contract weight will be higher than 154.

True indeed, Joe Green does look like he has Jeff Lacy's career written all over it.

finally martinez's time to shine. he has very good speed and footwork, but santos is no alex bunema. santos also used to be a speedy, awkward southpaw, but he can land solid straight lefts that could end the fight with one punch, while martinez is more the breakem down type. it's an extremely hard to pick fight, but i don't know if martinez could handle santos's power. i'll slightly favor santos, he's been there, done that while martinez has been around for a while and has only been there

That sucks if it's true...why wouldn't they want this fight for a title.
