What's up with Guerrero these days? I haven't heard much about him since beating up Litzau last year.
"Can he train you? Yes he can. But can he come to your aid. Like fighting my son with an empty can of raid"
Are you referring to Gonzalez? A solid ESPN-level contender involved in a barnburner FOTY candidate isn't exactly a nobody...nor are Ramirez or Jimenez... You don't buy into some of the hype surrounding Gamboa, okay fine. That's perfectly fair. To kneejerk all the way to the other extreme is just ******ed, however.
I don't know if it was a crap knock down. Got Roy right behind the ear with a winging "WTF I might as well go for it" punch. My point was that he most certainly went down against a guy who was a nobody. Or at the very least a nobody on the scale of what RJJ is/was. I'd also oppose to Darling Jiminez being a "nobody". The guy has made a decent living as a solid B- rate fighter who knocked off a few underdogs in his day. Not a boxing god of course but a nobody is a stiff term.
This kid is fast and slick, I wouldn't pick either of those guys to "kill him." It's only his 13th pro fight, give him five or six more fights and he could very well own this division.
heard rumors that if Gamboa was spectacular tonight then a fight with Cabellero will be in the works, that KD may have put that idea away unless Celestino sees it as an golden opportunity to expose Gamboa before someone else does
