bad stoppage. ref stopped it when he wasnt doing much but not really hurt. sucks for gonzales to be stopped when he was still more than able to fight.

Most certainly a lame stoppage but I guess the ref was hungry and had a flight to catch.

I too, am eagerly anticipating the Ghost's next move in the ring. Highly doubt Pac will even acknowledge him, but 130 is his on a silver platter.

 

Last I remembered reading there was Guerrero-Soto talk but that simmered a while ago.

Just do SOMETHING at this point. Way too many guys are wasting their time sittig around idly while big fights pass them by.

He was stopped in 6 by Jhonny Gonzalez, who is a world-class fighter and that's not even up for debate. OK.

His last fight was the aforementioned FOTY candidate with fellow fringe contender Cornelius Lock (who scored three KD's and was rocked a few times over the course of a fight full of back-and-forth action). Do yourself a favor and find that video. :good

Gamboa still needs to be spoon fed for at least another year or more...
at the elite level his flaws will be brought to the light.

(He has good recoup, which is a +)
The guy is cool to watch, Anything can happen in a Gamboa fight.
he will win a championship at some point, But I don't see a reign.
