    Good question Longhorn,

There are some here who have already implied that a Spinks knockout is inevitable, but I'm not so quick to write it off as a forgone conclusion. Jones took a lot of decent punches from men who could crack, and frankly I don't necessarily think that his chin is the only factor here. There are other things like speed, defense, boxing ability, etc. We should also consider that Jones was not Ko'd until past his prime, by a big puncher, and after a period where he was drastically rising and falling in weight within a short length of time.

With all of the above said, I certainly think that Spinks could have knocked him out if raw power vs chin was the only factor in the equation. But, as I've already said, It isn't.

I think the fact that Spinks was better than anybody Roy ever faced and was a bigger puncher than the other guys, I could only see the conclusion of a Spinks KO.

Spinks right hand is going to do ugly things to most people when landed clean. ENORMOUS power. Genuine one punch power.

Digressing somewhat here, but Perez must be the WORST big time referee I have ever seen. The amount of times I have seen clips of fights where he lets fights go on too long is incredible. They guy here had to needlessly take two huge left uppercuts as he was out on his feet.

Yeah, a GREAT light heavyweight with Spinks reach, height and uncanny skill isn't going to get close enough to connect at all.

Spinks legs were so slow he looked like he was fighting in quicksand and his punches not too quick and a little sloppy yet hes going to land his best shots on 1 of the fastest greatest defensive boxers ever at the weight? Even if he does a past prime KO loss doesnt mean RJJ's chin was susceptable in his prime, a chin goes with age too.

Roy Jones supposedly faced bums his whole career, Spinks would have been 1 of those bums
