If these two warriors fought for a third time, would pac defeat him more convincingly due to his seemingly improved skills, or will it be close as the other two which may lead to a marquez win.
It's tight, but Marquez wins unless it's above lightweight. Lets face it, he won the last fight and would have won the first if he hadn't have got caught cold in the first few rounds. Plus, Manny has kind of abused himself by stepping up in weight so much.
I think the opposite is true. The guy was coming into his 130 lb. fights weighting 144 lbs. JWW is probably the best division for Pac. He doesn't have to drain much anymore, and he's still not at a size disadavantage at 140. If Pac and Marquez are to fight again, it will definately be at 140 lbs. and I would definately pick Pac.
I dont think Pac has necessarily improved his skills but the longer they leave it, the better for Pac due to the age factor. Right now its a 50/50 fight, if Marquez had a better chin & didnt keep getting put on his ass Id give him the edge as he already has the edge in boxing ability but he doesnt so its a toss up.
I can't give a definite answer to that (given the first two contests can anyone). I would lean slightly towards Marquez; Pac is an awesome fighter but Marquez, even though he only has a draw and a loss so far, seems to be a bad style for him. Its up in the air though; I wouldn't put my house on this one.
Because ive scored the first fight a draw and the second to JMM i would have to say Marquez on points. Above 135 then Pac
it would be close, once again, but jmm is an adaptable fighter that likes to expose weaknesses, so even if manny was to get better, jmm is probably the best counterpuncher in the game today. it's just too hard to pick, but i'd narrowly pick jmm.
the only way this fight happens is if pac loses to hatton in may. if the hatton fight is reasonbly close, they will rematch. otherwise, sorry fellow marquez fans, no way no how will he be a big enough draw for it to be worth it for manny. as much as id like to see it, we probably wont. not counting hatton out though. anyway, if it does happen, 50/50 fight and the score will never be 'settled'. these two just have eachothers number and fans of both sides need to get over it and respect eachother as well as both fighters. we're all boxing fans, right?
Another misconception is that Pacquiao has improved since JMM2. Nope. His competition has gone down significantly. Human punching bag Diaz, and the weight drained De La Hoya. He's going to look like superman against those guys, and he sure did. I pick Marquez to win in a third match at 135. I had him winning both of their previous fights. I think Juan is to technically superior for Pacquiao to effectively land without being countered for 12 rounds (*******s make note of the 12 ROUNDS part). However, it would be a closely fought bout but I have no reason to doubt Marquez. They are both the same fighters.
Now since Pac is on top of the world, only way Marquez wins is if he doesnt get KD'd at all & wins 9 rounds or more of the fight.
