My girlfriend usually spellchecks my work when I'm not on ESB and actually working. It's that losing/loosing thing that is the thorn in my side. I don't know how many times that damn mistake occurs. :good
Tszyu only ever wanted to be the very best in boxing that he could be. At 35, with a shoulder that was shot to bits he decided to turn it in. Even at that age, after a monstrous amateur career and some tremendous pro fights he still gave a prime Hatton hell. It would have been very close on the cards nonetheless. I think it was more a case of his body not allowing him to rule anymore, rather than the opposition. Mayweather didnt want any part of him after seeing his mate Judah get obliterated and hid behind the fact he was HBO while Tszyu was Showtime. The very best at 140lb on his day.
I just watched that fight... KT just seemed to have this look on his face in the late rounds like... "F--k this... I'm getting too old for this ****!"
Hop is a tactical and defensive type of fighter, which is the reason he has been able to fight far longer than most.
If I'm not mistaken, he had thought of retiring even before the Hatton fight. I think he was already 35 when he fought Hatton. I need to find this out.:think
Bull****! PBF mentioned in several post fight interviews that he wanted Zoo. Quit making **** up like PBF was scared of a guy he would have beaten anyway.:deal BTW the HBO-Showtime thing was very real reason as to why a fight between them never happend. HBO-Showtime have only done cross-promotion fights twice Pea-Chavez and Lewis-Tyson. Neither Zoo or PBF had a big enough name to warrant such a fight for cross-promotion. Zoo retired because he was done and knew he couldn't deal with the young lions of the division.
He was already past his prime, still one of the topdogs tho...its like an early realization that he's had a good career and its time to enjoy his success.
Of course you only believe this because you want to Boost Hatton's prestige ... a win over any version of Tszyu is a good win, but I am sorry.... he was far from Prime against Hatton , anyone who believes otherwise is just in denial.
