It was a great fight! Quick powerful punching from Balzsay and steady methodical pressure by Inkin. I had it even, 6 a piece. Of course, the 10th round could be a 10-8 round and the hard blows and lack of stamina by Inkin decided the fight. Overall, it was an excellent scrap screaming for a rematch.

I doubt we will see one, however. Inkin has been sidelined by Universum by more than one occasion and Balzsay is clearly their favorite. Inkin, with proper training, would be even mroe dangerous for Balzsay than he was now.

Pretty damn good technical fight, exactly what I predicted. It was close with Inkin being busier and Balzsay landing the more meaningful punches, almost knocking Inkin out in the 10th. Good, skilled, powerful fighter, although didn't have the stamina to finish Inkin of when he had the chance.

    Very good fight.

I am very happy for Balzsay is is clear the more talented of those two.

Needs to be more aggressive/active - he is no AA (neither defensive or in punching power) so it's important for him to up his workrate.

Though he is right on with his physical attributes and not likely being pushed around by any SMW.

btw Sean: Balzsay is just about 6'1 but seems to have a decent reach/handspeed. Though he needs to improve his balance and let his punches go more fluently.

I agree. He seems to be too inactive sometimes. I wish he'd just pump out a jab more often from the southpaw stance. He was letting Inkin outjab him sometimes, and Inkin who is not known as a high work-rate fighter...he looked busier for periods.

He needs to do some high altitude running. Build up the stamina, throw more jabs, let his combinations go a little more freely. Good prospect in the division if he can do that.

Very close fight it could have gone either way IMO. I'm really glad Balzsay made it. He's got talent and his style is exciting. He's also a very nice and humble guy.

Oh and I know it's not easy to keep up with these crazy Hungarian consonants for anyone not from Hungary but there's a difference between SZ and ZS in our language. Károly's surname is BalZSay.

Yep! Very entertaining and good fight it was!

Both fighters had to take some good shots. It could have gone either way,but I tend to agree with the official outcome of their encounter.
I for my part thought that Inkin had the edge in experience and would win a close point decision.
The Hungarian has talent, and well matched he can find himself among the top 5 at supermiddle IMO.
I was rooting for Inkin, but I frelly admit that the Hungarian is a very likeable human being with a style which is fun to watch. A good combination in my humble opinion.

Out of curiosity, how do you pronounce his last name? Is it

a)Karoly is a Balzsay fighter. (ballsy)

    b) When I have too much sex, my Balzsay "no mas". (balls say)

    or
    c) None of the above.
    Thanks in advance :thumbsup

    Inkin came up short.

Could not overcome the size difference, nor his reputed stamina problems.

Hehe, nice try but it's c) none of the above.

It's something like Baalzhaee. The zh in the middle (zs in the Hungarian alphabet) stands for a sound that is similar to the first sound in the French word je.
