Felix Trinidad is Overrated...Especially his Punching Power....You agree?

    Bernards trainers asked for the hands to be re taped because they were not there to witness the first taping/wrapping of the hands. This is a fact. I am not sure if they found they were illegally taped but wanted them done with a Hopkins member of team present.

    I have heard the rumors of Titos handwraps before other fights, but at the end of the day he did have punching power bad tapes or not. He didnt fail to hurt Hopkins becuase of some stupid tape as you put it, he didnt hurt Hopkins because Hopkins didnt allow Tito to hurt him, and Hopkins has a good chin anyway.

    Over all Tito is a bit overrated by some, but not by most, he is remembered for what he was, a limited fighter but great champion.

    Against Tito, Mayorga went down more due to exhaustion.

    DLH put him down with just 1 good left hook.

    I didn't say "proven", I said SUPPOSED. Show me where I said it was proven.

    That also has nothing to do with the question I asked, nor was my question even directed at Tito's defenders (like yourself) anyway, it was a question for his critics in this thread.

    They are not claims. It is fact. It came out of his own fathers mouth who taped his hands. What else do you need?:-(

    It was proven. Bouie Fisher uncovered it, and had to get the Head Commisioner to make him take off the wraps. When he made it come off, then everything came out on how he was able to hurt people with jabs alone.

    No. Hopkins is obviously huge for Tito and no way he can't hurt the guy no matter what. And I say Trinidad has extra ordinary punching power.
