I love Morales almost as much as I love MAB, but I wouldn't pick either of them to beat Corrales. Too big, too hard a puncher, and I don't think EM could hurt him. You're talking about two great fighters who arguably had their best days at 122 going up against a power puncher with tons of heart and will, so big he could rarely even make 130.

Diego gets underestimated, I think... he was a very destructive fighter and he would absolutely smash dudes.

I think once Corrales stepped up against guys closer to the level of Morales and Barrera he usually lost. I love Diego, but he's too flat footed to beat Morales, but I would favour him to beat and probably stop Marco at 130.

Casamayor and JLC are very close to the elite level of EM and MAB, if not right on their level, and they're considerably larger and more powerful. Those are the natural fights for Corrales. Diego is just too big.

If they DID fight, Marco would box like crazy and probably make it to the 12th. EM would get stopped. Corrales hits much harder than Pacqiao, and EM will go to war just like he always does.

Morales does not get stopped against Pacquiao if he was anywhere near his prime.

There is always the chance that Marco outboxes Corrales. I think his technical ability is often understated, but watching him in Salud, Sanchez, Hamed, and Morales I and III is often breathtaking. Awesome combination puncher, and his handspeed was way above average. He has the capacity to outbox Corrales, but I'd favour Diego to land some hard shots of his own and stop Marco.

I think Morales circles Corrales all night, landing reaching shots, but ultimately outpointing Diego.

I think Morales could outbox Corrales while maintaining effective offensive aggression, a la Pacquiao.

2 of my favorite fighters. i think corrales would take it, EM was not really a beast at 130 compared at 122 and 126. diego at 130 and 135 was really strong

:yep Morales is going to bounce in and out? U make it sound as if he's a pure boxer but when was the last time he got into his boxing mode huh? the last time he actually boxed for 12 rounds was in the 2nd barrera fight but against a fellow brawler like Chico, u know he's going to fight toe to toe to prove his machismo. That's just the kind of fighter he is and that's why everyone loves him, and so do i. Even against Pacquiao, he could have boxed safely for 12 rounds but instead he switched up to southpaw in the 12th round just to prove how tough he was. I can't imagine him boxing with corrales. He might box in some rounds but at some point in the fight he's definitely going to get into an exchange and when that happens that will be his undoing. At 130 he wasn't at his best and his speed and his power diminished a bit. Look how he struggled against a one armed chavez.

Chico has the advantage in handspeed and punching power and he'd certainly get the better of morales when they go toe to toe.

They're two of my favorite fighters but El Terrible would get murdered. He has too much heart to lay down so i doubt there would be a KO but I see the ref jumping in to save him or his corner would throw in the towel..

    Chico TKO11 Morales

Chico would've knocked Morales block off.
