ATG Lists - Fighters Of Recent Years...

    Might be a controversial subject.

    Who've crept into the lower end of, say, top 30-50 lists in their chosen weight classes or there abouts.

    I don't know if you could peg Jorge Acre lower then top 50 in some of the lower weight classes. Can't fault a fighter with one loss in the past decade, and with wins over the likes of Darchinyan continued with other quality wins could bump him up a bit.

    How about Ricky Hatton at 140? Not a particularly loaded division in the sports history. How high would you rank him in it?

    Id have Arce top 10 for lightfly...Dont know for fly but a long way out of the top20..Superfly I reckon I could name 20 fighters Id put over him at least..Obviously a win over Darchinyan changes this.

    I wouldnt even try until their careers are over though.

    He'd have to be no lower than #3. The division is simply far too weak historically to have him any lower, really.

    thats my reasoning its a pretty weak division and he is/was an execptional fighter at that weight
