It would not be fair. I justfied my claims with Felix Trinidad's fathers own words. He admitted it openly.

I am shocked that you guys are not shocked about this. It is not fair to Duran and others who fought fair..

Tito's stint as champion was at least as good as Cuevas' in terms of quality of opposition. Also, Tito did display some nice defensive skill from time to time, especially in his earlier fights.

And POSTING IN CAPS does little to emphasize your points, but makes you seem more obnoxious than you appear to be already.

And you lost all crediblity on this topic during the initial
post when you claimed that Kid Gavilan and Marlon Starling were bigger punchers than Trinidad...yet failed to mention legitimate powerpunchers at 147lbs. (Barbados Joe Walcott as an example.)

This is a boxing forum where people enjoy great fighters and like to discuss ,sometimes heatedly about their favorite sport and not just throw **** accusations around about other peoples heroes :good

I think Tito's power was overrated to an extent. He wasn't a pure one punch knockout artist IMO. He couldn't quite knock you out with one punch, but rather knock you down with a single punch. Which I think made him one of the most dangerous kinds of punchers because guys would often get up knockdown after knockdown and endure serveral rounds of brutal punishment.. just look at his fights with Reid, Vargas, and Joppy as an example.

overrated yes, but punching power was quite good. Very one-dimensional easy to hit fighter. Lot of heart but not a good boxer.

The thing that gets me most is that Paname Lewis was banned from boxing for doing this same bull**** that costed a man his life. Why isn't papa Trindad banned for this?

Trinidad's career is done and over with and will never be effective when fighting a quality opponent again.

His father was the one wrapping his hands, he should be banned from boxing.

Making a fighters hand almost like plaster just aint right to the opponents. No how no way..
