my mate was done for DD about 4 months ago and even though he has been to america 4 times before he is now banned for 5 years, thought it was a mistake, phoned american embassy £ 1.50 premium rate cost about £100 time he was finished and they still refused him a visa.

any criminal conviction whatsoever has to be declered and if you lie , you get sent back on the next plane if they find out .

and i presume brown will have given the americans every tiny detail about every one of us.

if you do have a record but stll want to go , you have to apply to the american embassy by phone to get the appoinment, which is how he found out about the phone charges, took a day of work to go and apply in person and was turned down in a few secs.

apparently the new system by form approves you in a couple of mins if you have no misdamenours.

When I went over for Hatton-PBF as long as you didn't own up to any convictions there was no problem.

 

I need to think about it properly but my first impressions are Hatton is going to have to show us something new to win this.

 

Bull ****, you can fill the form in online and it costs you **** all....same pack-drill as the onboard forms i.e. what they don't know doesn't hurt them, don't admit to any convictions and all will be OK. The British government is not able by law to pass personal information on an ad hoc basis.
