Your making a defence for Khan and thats fine but how many fights do you think it'll take before hes ready for a Guzman, Juan Diaz or a Marquez ?? Hes a million miles away in my opinion .. If i was Freddie Roach i'd build him up for LWW, hes got the frame, theres nothing very dangerous there compared to LW and i think his speed would be a big factor in that division in the next 18 months .. His defensive boxing is the key to his future, offensively he's impressive but he wont survive in any division if he cant defend. Im talking about stance and body positioning, not chin. Chin is incidental, lots of boxers will go down if they're caught like Khan has been. Can he learn when he steps in the ring, the lights are on, the adrenaline is flowing, can he actually keep to a plan .. Im not so sure

Khan done the Zab Judah chicken dance in the AM's. Khan ate the canvas against Limmond which myself and most people on here class as a victory for Limmond if it wasnt for that shitter of a ref giving Khan about 20minutes to get up. Khan was rocked in the late stages against that danish guy (who?), Khan was knocked down and could have been stopped against Gomez.

Then Khan goes and gets rocked by a JAB against Prescott then gets brutally KO'd.

Khan has one of the worst chins ive seen since I've been following boxing. He's been put in against feather-fisted fighters all his career and STILL has managed to show his chin is A-GRADE china.

As soon as he fights someone decent against he's going to get KO'd AGAIN.

HOW CAN YOU DENY SUCH AN OBVIOUS BAD CHIN ?

 

Jeff i scrolled through your link and i still didnt see a mention of Floyd. Ive had a few beers and maybe i missed it but if the 'Khan/Patterson comparison' is there then i applaud you for finding it .. I cant quite get my head round the comparison but i will think about it !

I am not comparing Floyd Patterson with Amir Khan, merely pointing out that you can be chinny and still achieve...being feather whiskered is not necessarily a block on winning a world title, especially if your promoter matches you well.
