Definately Buchanan over Laguna I (don't know about II, the environment was nowhere near as hostile), Curry - Honeyghan, Stracey - Napoles (again, because of the hostile environment, and because I like Stracey :good )

Phillips wasn't a bad win for Hatton, seriously - just Boxrec him.....

Took Sharmba Mitchell the distance in his previous fight, then later defeated Kelson Pinto....

If you are wanting to take the **** out of Hatton..... look at Steven Smith, Dennis Pedersen or John Bailey :good

I like Hatton, just toying with you.......Phillips was long gone by the time Hatton fought him to be honest....at 40 it can't be considered a great achievement, 40 year old US fighters usually only come to the UK for the dollars, Phillips had his best years when Hatton was making his debut........the guys who lost/struggled with him when he was 40 plus takes nothing away from Hattons win which I remember enjoying but he was fighting guys like Tszyu, Quartey, Ward and Forrest when Hatton was building his career

It's as relevant a win as Calzaghe's over a 39 year old Jones......which means not very

Michael Watson vs Nigel Benn deserves a mention too, although not close to top 3 performances.

Keep Hatton's name out of this thread, christ. It is disgraceful to see him even associated with these greats.

Before the De La Hoya-Pacquiao fight Hatton beating Manny would not be considered anything other than expected

I expect Hatton to win as the fight will be at 140 where Hatton is comfortable and is coming off an impressive win

Hoya was 145 or something daft like that.....completely weight drained and he had no legs

If Hatton loses it will be an upset....
