plenty of time to sort it out.

the fight makes financial sense for both parties, and my guess is paq will compromise and make the fight.

he is a far bigger draw in the usa...obviously not in britain...but i would assume most of the world would rather see the most exciting fighter in boxing than a mauling holder

Hatton will bring WAR to Pacman, this fight will be fireworks, Pacman would never have seen someone come at him all the time like a mad man.

exactly. this 60/40 is for the guaranteed purse split only. if hatton gets the major portion of the UK PPV buys, then this purse split should be acceptable to him.

like i said before, he agreed on a 30/70 purse split w/ mayweather and took home the majority portion of the UK PPV buys.

Well thankfully the rest of the world doesn't agree with your boring rhetoric :good

Who the better boxer is has nothing to do with the reality of who the bigger draw is, and world wide it's Ricky Hatton despite your obvious dislike for him. Don't make assumptions, lets go more with reality, it's generally more accurate as a rule.

You don't think there'd be UK PPV buys?

worldwide?! In UK, yes. but the rest of the world? i think not. pac is definitely more popular in the US, latin countries, asia. etc. In Europe except UK, i'm not sure who's more popular.

paq v diaz did 190,000 american ppv sales i read.

my guess is more brits watched that fight at 4 am on a sunday morning that americans watched prime time.

take away the american fillipino sales and it leaves fred bloggs 1123 rodeo drive and mr smith at 24 arbuckle st as the only americans tuned in.

This makes sense businesswise, but it's disrespectful toward Hatton, and Pacs. image of being a great guy everyone's champion will get slightly tarnished. Let's faice are both huge draws, and I like them both, but if Pac's. serious about 60-40 then a lot of fans who appreciate both fighters will start rooting for Hatton.

yeah. if the same thing happens here, then hatton should accept the 40/60 purse split.
