Pacquiao: 60/40 or no fight! Team Hatton: we are pulling the plug!

50-50 sounds reasonable. Pacman isn't the bigger draw and no way he deserves 60%. He's out of his mind if he thinks he's bigger than hatton.

Hatton doesn't need to be a main eventer (in the US), or in the States at all, to make serious money.

He could fight pretty much anyone, and do 100000 at Wembley, 70000 in Cardiff or 57000 at Manchester - UK prime time, plus over a million PPV buys...... take nearly all the money and still give most opponents their biggest payday.

Certainly any of the 140lb crowd.

Hatton wouldn't even fight Witter, no way would he fight the man who just beat Witter. If Holt wins that fight, he would be more likely to fight Pac being that they're both promoted by Top Rank. And even if that fight couldn't get made, I doubt Hatton would fight Holt. Marquez would definately take a fight against Pac over Hatton. I guess Hatton could fight Judah.

Then let Hatton do that. Let's see his ass get in the ring with Bradley or Holt. I don't see that happening. I see him either fighting bums or big names. Mayweather and Pac are the only big names out there that he could fight.

You 'doubt' that Hatton would fight Holt but you think Pacquiao would?

Not sure what Hatton/Witter has to do with Hatton/Bradley, unless you're totally ignorant of the background there?

that's already been explained, hatton kept the uk tv rights for that fight that's why it was 70:30.

I'm sure the US economy appreciate the extra business from the UK tourists.

Haven't fight attendances Stateside been pisspoor lately?

I don't have a problem with him fighting Bradley/Holt - if he loses to Pac I would suggest this as a comeback fight.

Some of you guys don't seem to get negotiating. It's all about who has more leverage. Pac told Hoya to **** himself unless he got 35%. No one gets more than 30% against Hoya. However, Pac had more leverage over Hoya than any of his other opponents and there got a bigger piece of the pie. Mayweather had a lot of leverage over Hatton and got something like a 60% or 70% take. Pac has similar leverage, and should in no way accept parity.

hatton will probably fight jmm if he don't fight pac, but he would only not fight bradley because of the money or lack of not because he's scared like you're trying to convey. he would beat bradley easily.

Holt and Pac are both promoted by Arum. Pac will fight whoever Arum puts in front of him.

I know all about the background there as well as Hatton's bull**** excuses for not fighting Witter. I'm sure Hatton fans soaked up that garbage, but I didn't.

Mayweather got 70% - but surely someone in his enormous payroll ought to have known that Hatton would do over 1m PPV buys.....

I bet the overall split with the UK money all going to Hatton was something like 55-45 - certainly no worse than 60-40 in Floyd's favour. Take into account Floyd's wagebill compared to Ricky's........... Hatton probably had more to himself afterwards.
