Yep, I was trying to make the point to Chert that being big in China, Indonesia, Malaysia etc doesn't nessarcerily translate into bringing cold, hard cash to the table. Most of those countries don't even have PPV boxing.

    That number seems highly suspect.

I figured he would find a way to avoid fighting any live opponent.

what and get paid a few of million dollars against most of them like it or not hatton is the big money outside of mayweather and maybe even more so. He would not get more than 5-6 million dollars for any of the other you mentioned compared to 20-30 million against hatton.

I really hope so. Hatton - JMM would be a much better fight, and one that I would travel to watch :good

Well, I'm not one of them! No matter where Hatton fights, his fans always follow, & as long he keeps boxing, I cannot see that changing!

Just look at Hatton-Mayweather if you need an example of Hatton being a big draw in boxing. The fans went in theri droves, even just to be in Vegas on fight week.

Hatton is the bigger draw than Manny, but Manny holds all the cards in that he's acknolwedged as the best P4P right now, so we shall see.

Im sure a negotiating period will commence soon, if not already, & all will be resolved in due course. Fight's to big for it not to happen.

Who knows, maybe we will get Pacquiao-Mayweather or Hatton-Mayweather 2 sooner than we think?

Pacman Has EARNED the right to be greedy. Those of you calling him a greedy so and so, when you get to the top of your respective proffesions will you take a equal pay to someone lower?

His earnings depend on his sale-ability as well as his skills eg Dawson has the skills but no real fan base.
They both have large fan bases but Hattons fans pay through the nose to travel and see him.Why should Manny get all Hattons fans cash it should be divided equally

bob arum beleives that hatton is worth 50/50 , perhaps paq does as well

its the people around paq that are playing cute at the moment.
