Hatton would eat Bradley alive, as would Witter if Bradley manned up and offered a re-match

The UK PPV revenue amounted conservatively to over $30m (£15 = $30 x 1,000,000 - actual figure closer to 1,200,000)...so I would say that there was just about purse parity, if not an advantage to Hatton.

I see that its true what they say about people from Norfolk. Let DOM5153 be held up as an example of what happens when brothers marry sisters :good

arum wants to make as much dollar as he can, the more of a cut pacquiao gets, the more dollars arum gets.

pacquiao aint stuped, he is the P4P#1 boxer in the world, he wants as much money as he can get, 60-40 is a fair split, and hatton needs pacquiao more than pacquiao needs hatton, everything is in pacquiao's favour.

Bull****....Hatton could fill 90,000 seat Wembley stadium generating £10-£15m = $15-22m and 1 million PPV at £15 ($22) a time fighting my ****ing sister...the casual British boxing fan doesn't even know who Pac is FFS.

  8. What's the point, really?

I bunch of guys with the time to make many thousands of posts on ESB over the years arguing about what is the appropriate compensation for multi-millionaires? Oh, he shouldn't be making $10 mil, I think $7 mil is right, no,no he deserves Y not X. Could there be a less appropriate topic for this audience to evaluate? lol

Economy is shaking around the globe and you guys really think you know whether 60/40 or 40/60 or 50/50 is right? Oh, that greedy Pacquaio. No, he's the face of boxing. Ricky can draw more Brits, goddammit. X/X is FAIR!!!!

    ho ho ho

This should be in the lounge, along with Is There A God, Einstein Was Wrong, and Evaluation Of Economic Systems.

But surely Which Country Has The Best Beer or Best Pot can be discussed quite decently. :D

    ...

i'm not talking about who could generate more money from a fight, but what it could do for each fighters career. a win over pacquiao for hatton does more than pacquiao destroying hatton.

pacquiao has beaten fighters who have achieved more than hatton, he beat a prime barrera and marquez. wheras hattons best wins where against 2 shot fighters, and when he last stepped he got KO'd in the 10th round.

pacquiao is hattons best opponent, hatton is not pacquiao best opponent! :good

Hatton's father and manager made a deal with Sky PPV that gave Hatton a percent of every PPV sold over 350,000 and retained all the UK TV rights for the fight. The total tally came up over 20Million pounds for Ricky Hatton.

50/50 is more than fair for Pac. Good luck to Manny if he thinks he can even get 50/50 with someone like Mayweather at the negotiation table :D

Hatton should tell team greedy guts to **** off and fight Margarito instead. Im sure Margarito would have no qualms accepting a 40/60 split.

you were posting about who`s better, calzaghe or an ice hockey player on the boxing section of esb .

you cant say on the one hand this thread is trivial and then post on a thread like that and not contradict yourself.

Hey, I'm with that. I'm sure Margarito will take less than 40% to make the fight against Pacquiao.

  15. Well, Sean you need to work on your reading. I never said a word about Joe being better or worse than any ice hockey player (lol). I posted a (humerous) video on a thread with other humerous videos. Good try though. Hey, I also posted a comment on Best Brit Comedies maybe you can work with that.
