Cool, PM me at some point. Will be going with my brother who is under 21, so may not be able to hit bars, but let me know what's up.
It's a PPV... and apparently 5 fights are being shown... Korobov being one of the fighters showcased... I think all the fights are being aired in MSG and then they'll go to Youngstown for the main event..
Pipe will be driving in from about 4 hours away? So, what we do before the fight will be "meal" oriented. Let him rest a little and get some food before we head down. Weather may have a lot to do with what happens after the fight. I don't go downtown much so I don't know what will be open late other than BW3. Even if extra places are open, I don't know that there is enough in Ytown to handle this crowd after the fight. As fight time gets closer I'll try and keep an ear open for places to go afterwards.
B-Dubs sponsers Pavlik right? Seems like the logical place to go. Wonder if I can get my brother a fake ID before the fight...
Yes, sir I think 4 hours will about be right. Takes about 5-6 for me to go to Cleveland. That link you provided the other day, said something like events start at 7:30? If we're in there all hyped up for Pavlik watchin' a friggin TV until the time for Pavlik fight ....ooooooohhhh :twisted: NO friggin way they'd do that to us. Surely we'll see some ring action before the main event.
He won't need an ID to get in. At least I don't think he would. It isn't a 'bar' per se. Things might be loose come fight night anyhow.
I go to BW3 up here and they ID after about 9 or 10. Fairly strict about it too, but my brother can pretty easily pass for 21 (he's only a few months shy).
B-Dub in Huntington doesn't require an ID to get in, just to drink. Should be OK if we can get in the door. I still need to let Herm in on the Hotel I plan to stay,, just worried he'll be like :shock: OH NO!! not that hell hole!
As long as it isn't Kings out on 422, if it is still there..... I was doing service there when they had just opened a pizza shop. Guy told me to stop in and he would give me a free pizza. I was about 50 yards away when I was leaving, he came out and started waving to me to come get the pizza and I just waved goodbye like I had forgotten about it.
As the night gets closer perhaps some of the local ESB posters that are young enough to know what 'night life' is will speak up and let us know more.
Hell yeah!!! The other day he said he'd ride his Harley to Vegas one day to see Pav. Flights are cheeper than ever right now though. He doesn't come out and say, but I believe he may be from Oregon?
