point is - williams beat margarito but that made less waves big time than cotto - margarito.

insiders know williams is a wrecking ball waiting to happen but he doesnt have any momentum.

thats because williams was never a ballpark player.

its not his fault but its the truth.

Sure it did but that doesn't stop the fact that Margo set up a Cotto rematch before he decided to anything with his career after he beat Cotto.

He then ignores Williams offer and decides to fight Mosley.

He's a ball park player now, & he's willing to come down to 147 to fight Cotto if Cotto wants it.

theres more money in mosley and cotto...

if you've been sitting on the sidelines for so long (and longer than you have to...), then you'll go where the money is.

How so, Williams offered 4 million for a fight.

Margo took the Mosley match for 2 million, then demanded more and is getting around 2.25-2.5 million.

he left a near 2 mil on the table with Williams.

jennings is a patsy...just like sturm was 'suppose to be' for oscar and just like larsen is for bute.

they are all undeserving euro fighters who are being given a shot at something because the man in the mainframe isnt taking them seriously....

The ugly truth is Jennings could probably draw as much as Williams can over in the UK. Williams combined with Arreola drew only like 3500 fans to watch their fight.

PW is willing to give Cotto a shot, but its really the other way around. If PW still had that belt, do you think Cotto would have accepted a fight with PW?

Tell me about it. Sad thing is that the IE is basically Arreola's hometown

paul williams is still high risk low reward.

it doesnt matter when a fighter says "i'll fight anyone" - it always comes down to economics.

there's much better rep to be earned from fighting shane mosley for less cash than fighting williams, who isn't known mainstream.

    it sucks, i know.

    but thats the bottom line.
