He Boxed against Walid Smichet at montreal and got a point win...watching the fight many times(A WAR) i was SURE he could beat John Duddy Easily and many other top fighter ...Hes W8(7ko)L3-D1 but dont look his record hes tough as hell ,punches with great power with both hands...hes raw but very strong and has a good chin... any one know about him?
Yes, This is Ray with Juiced Up Energy Drink, South Division. Don Mouton is our debut fighter on Team Juiced Up. I can see her really stirred things up in Canada. We are getting ready to launch an all out assault on the Middleweight Division, Get Ready! Don is a very humble fighter and he is just what the boxing community needs to rejuvinate it. You can see one of our latest commercials on: www.JuicedUpSouth.com/juicedupboxing/dangerousdonmouton.html We would love to come back to put on a great show for Canada. And to the other writer...Yes, Houston does know him and we Love him! Matrix
he really impress me in the fight with schmichet , the guy his much better then his recore say. good fundementals!
Since his fight with Smichet, he's on my list of guys to keep an eye on. Although his record is indeed deceptive, one must not get too carried away. As much as he deserved his win against Smichet and looked good during it, he deserved his loss against Vlasov and lloked at times like a slow plodder. Still, Smichet then Ravelo is quite a streak for a guy who was 7-3 when it all started. It certainly got my interest. Oh yeah, and I'd tab him to beat Duddy as well. The old Duddy at least. I haven't seen his fight against Vanda and probably won't.
Canada, looks like you got your wish to see Don Mouton again. He has signed to fight Adonis "Superman" Stevenson at the Montreal Casino on May 2nd 2009. In speaking with Don, he says quote him, "I'm coming for my belt!". Dangerous Don Mouton is really excited about coming back to Montreal, he says that town shown him so much love that he would fight there anytime. Thanks for the love Montreal, Team Juiced Up will see you in May! Matrix
Glad to hear it. I think this is a real opportunity for Mouton. Well, actually, everyone of his latest fights were good opportunities as well, with each win propelling him one more rung up the ladder. But a win here makes him a real player (sort of), since the next rung might be a Jean Pascal-type.
Doesn't really impress me. Smichet isn't a good fighter, Duddy just went to war and Smichet caught him with huge combinations that caught the judges eye. He resorted to boxing later on and easily outboxed him to get the win. If he'd boxed from the begging, Duddy would of shut Smichet out. Ravelo isn't a good fighter either, especially his chin and variety. He stands there with his hands low, and not particularly good chin, and all he has is a decentish long left jab, and a good enough right hand. If you get past the jab and shake off his right hands, you can knock him out.
Adonis Super"Girl" Stevenson at the last minute ducked the Don Mouton fight for this May. I think as more tapes of Dangerous become available and the actual fighters see he may be billed as an opponent to pad their win record but, the real scouting report gets to them and they don't want no part what will be a real fight. His sole WBC Belt was on the line and he must have know that Dangerous wanted more than Super"Girl". Man, these cardboard champions made by their promoters careful opponent selection, hiding the belts from real boxers is what is got more and more people heading to MMA!
