it became realistic until after the Diaz fight, the DLH fight just made the fight a certainty

pac has a far better resume than hatton. he deserves the bigger pay. i dont care if it is 10% or .5%. pac is the best fighter in the world who just beat the biggest ppv seller in the past decade.

after losing to pbf, hatton failed to impress against lazcano and was wobbled at least twice. then he baterred featherfisted malinaggi. how can he deserve a 50-50 split with pac? again, it does not matter if it is .5% or 10%, pac should take the bigger pay.

because hatton brings more money than pac and it's a business as well as a sport

15-30k from the UK? are you sure of this number? then why is it that the malignaggi fight wasn't sold out, there were many empty seats and ticket sales were very slow according to news reports.

as for your question, probably, there are not enough tickets to go around. i'm sure there are a certain allotment of tickets to both fighters, their promotional companies, sponsors, etc. while a certain number is sold freely. both GBP and Top Rank certainly won't allow a fighter to have a vast majority of his fans dominate the atmosphere of the arena.

yes very sure of that number the problem hatton has is his fans don't get allocated enough tickets he could sell 100,000 seat stadium in england with ease.

you don't know that. hatton brings UK money while pac brings US, Asian money. this fight being in the US swings it in pac's favor since pac is certainly the bigger draw in the US.

Why did Top Rank allow that to happen for the Mayweather v Hatton fight?

yeah. probably the 4.5M fil-ams in the US also have that problem.

That was certainly the number for the Mayweather fight. Difference in exchange rate between then and now mean that you probably wouldn't see similar numbers for Pacquiao, but you can expect enough to make half the arena travelling Hatton fans to start with.

So Top Rank don't really control the issue at all?

You base that from the Dela Hoya fight,Hatton will be a tougher opponent.Despite beating a badly faded Oscar Pacquiao still hasn`t really proved he could fight a hard fight at 140lb-147lb divisions.50/50 is fair or fight will be off.
