If that's the case then he would be a lot better if he listens to B-hop. Bernard lives like a monk though so I guess that's hard for anyone to do.
That's an emmy award winning sitcom if I ever saw one! Kelly gets popped with a straight right after The Executioner finds out he got caught cheating on his algebra test. This week on..."BHop & The Ghost".
Exactly. Not even foot speed really, he just has to be flud with his movements. He is slow in changing directions.
Kelly had a bad night. This can and has happened to the best at one time or another. He was exposed and now must carry on. He was locked up and couldn't unload, the rythem wasn't there. The early shots he took netralized Kelly, he felt serious pain.
We're not talking about why he lost. How can he have a bad night and be exposed at the same time?:think
Kelly gets caught having a beer during training, and pappa BHop takes him to school! (Next week on BHop and the Ghost.) There is no end to the possible story lines!
this thread is quite funny actually everything that was mentioned in this thread was also said to be an underrated attribute of Pavlik before he fought Hopkins
All true. 90% of the stuff on this thread is stuff many of us were talking about a year ago. However, prior to the BHop fight Kelly's "there's a freight train comin' at ya" style had never failed him. I'm hoping that the loss will motivate him to make a few changes. The kid has a ton of potential, and I don't think he is fully living up to it at the present time.
Yeah I saw it coming. That's why I picked B-hop by UD. Not too many thought he had a chance. I still don't get the talk of Pavlik being exposed. I think he can get better.
It's not difficult to hold two ideas in tension without contradicting yourself. Let me give you a couple of examples. I've read dozens of posts that accused Pavlik of just "plodding forward." The fact is that certain aspects of his footwork are very good. When he's got the mojo working he moves forward carefully and effectively behind an outstanding jab. When KP gets an opponent on the ropes, the guy better be able to punch his way off. If you don't, Kelly will use subtle foot movement to keep your ass pinned to the ropes. He is also able to use those long legs to step back out of range very quickly. Those who refuse to recognize these facts under rate his footwork. On the other hand, there are things he is not good at. Mainly lateral movement, and quick turns. Therefore his footwork needs improvemet. I've also read dozens of posts that claimed Kelly does not have any punch variety. That one is total bull****. He has an outstanding uppercut, a powerful lefthook, and he can throw a hellacious lead right to the head or the body. However, he does not throw the lead right as much as he should, and he seems to quite often hold the left hook in reserve until after he has a guy hurt. The uppercut is kind of on again off again. He put Zertuche to sleep with one, and threw a ton of them against Miranda, but neglected it in both Taylr fights. He has decent punch variety, but seems to have fallen in love with head hunting with the 1-2. Therefore, he is both under rated, and needs improvement. Simple concept really.
That's the greatest idea for a reality TV show I have ever heard. Kelly: BHop, my friends are goin down to the bar to hang, can I go. Bhop: O ****, here we go again.... Get ur ass to bed ratings thru the roof
I just want to see the learn to dance/Boom Box/ Big ass mirror 80's montage. Also Kelly will have to do a lot of swimming, until he can finally do it like Phelps and pulls Mr. Hopkins in the pool. Pavlik needs to re-gain the Eye of the Tiger.
