    Good fight!

Truscott is a very good young boxer, Simpson is hardened!

I actually thought Simpson would be too much for Appleby before their fight, thought he would be too strong and too much of a handful.. was i wrong!

Simpson needs to find his old form if he is to beat Paul who is a sharp boxer.
Think Truscott's feet will be too quick and enable him to keep John at bay where he will use his superior handspeed to win on points.

Don't know Truscott,he comes across really level headed and realistic in his interviews. . . but i know John, met him and spoke a few times so will be hoping he can rediscover some form.

I think Lindsay and Appleby beat both of these guys. would have been good to see Lindsay vs Truscott first and the winner fight Appleby for both belts, the winner pushing on for Euro.

its a good division domesticly, Akash Bhatia looks really good and Vinny Mitchell could break through next year as Warren seems to be letting his prospects fight for domestic titles sooner for his Sky deal.(Brook, Cleverly)

good to see you on her Dave Coldwell, good luck at Hayemaker. Rhodes vs Small should be great fight.

I watched a bit on both guys off youtube,

Simpson seams like a good strong boxer, but he doesnt throw too many punch combos, seams to be happy to land some jabs and throw the overhand a fair bit.

Could this fight go a bit like ... Simpson vs Appleby?

With Simpons goin for the big punch all night and Truscott happy to box on the outside?

I dont know, but im guessing Appleby has a little more god in him than Truscott?

Anyway, good money in this fight..

    Trustcott $2.04

    Simpson $1.90

Bhatia did indeed beat Truscott as an amateur, but i have heard off several people who where there that it was a very, very debatable decision, still though,it goes on record as a victory for Bhatia.
