Depends entirely on your definition of 'elite'. I can't say weather he's top 10 p4p either because my boxing knowledge simply isn't broad enough. However my definition of elite is someone who has the talent to eventually become an atg. He might not make for various factors (eg Ken Buchanan running into Duran, the murderers row fighters being ignored for title tilts) but the basic ability is there. Hatton dosen't strike me as that good (although if he beats Pac I'll happily admit I underated him) rather I think of him as a very decent worldclass fighter.

You can't follow Maywhether very much then, he's a top fighter but he's had his fair share of tough fights. Hatton ranks up there was one of Floyds best wins, if Hattons a bum that reflects badly on Floyd
yeah. an elite fighter doesn't get beat like that. i can't imagine cotto, margo or williams losing to mayweather in that way.
I voted World Level, but it can be argued he is elite or world level, I don't see much difference between your two categories. Has Cotto/Williams/Margarito really achieved much more than Dawson/Kessler/Haye? Hatton is on the same level as all of these guys, but he is not in the same league as Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez and Hopkins.
can you not read, you called Hatton a tomato can, you then claim Mayeweather is an elite fighter for beating these tomato cans. Surely that makes him no more than a Domestic level fighter himself.
Judah, Castillo, Augustus. had relative success against floyd. Augustus just for his nightmare of a style, floyd even admitted this was a hard fight at that point Emanual had lost 16 fights, although he is better than his record suggests
Elite. He is an underrated fighter in some respect and has been the main man in his division, which he has dominated for some time.
