As GSP said himself nobody ever won a round against him except for the round where he got arm-barred by Hughes and KOd by Serra (Both of which can be justified by himself by saying he made mistakes or just got "caught"). BJ just out and out beat him in the first round of their fight and came very close to winning the last round as well. That is definitely in GSPs head, he has admitted as much. Then there is BJ Penn's demeanor, confidence and new-found hunger and focus. GSP has gotten better and he knows this, but he has to know that Penn has been reborn and is a completely different and even better fighter then the guy who basically fought him to a stale mate the first go at it. :deal

GSP isnt as weak mentally as he was.
And where did you see that thing he said nobody never won a round against him apart from hughes and serra????

Because he did lost the first round vs Kos if I remember well....

Penn is not compleltly different, what are you saying. A part from that mysterious newborn cardio for his hard jab fight vs Sherk, of 3 rounds, what make you saying he is a different better fighter?

Dude go to mmalinker dot com and then click on BJ Penn's name. There is a video of a press conference. I think it was in November. Good stuff though. GSP, Dana and BJ taking questions for like 25 minutes.

Kos did not win a round against GSP that I remember. Maybe he meant up to that point in his career maybe. :good

I don't think GSP is "weak" mentally per se, BJ is just very imposing, charismatic and intimidating with his mystique, confidence and the aura of invincibility he has "If he's focused and in shape"...not saying he's invincible but you know what I mean. :deal

For the record. BJ is my favorite fighter but GSP is a very close second. :good

Yeah I know you like GSP.
But the fact is that I remember an interview of GSP, when he said that he knew that he needed to won the last 2 rounds vs Kos, to have the win because he feeled like he lost that first round.

When GSP pass that first round, all the nervosity will be gone, and GSP will become more stronger and put a beating on BJ. I am sure of that. I cant ****in wait, damn that I cant wait for that fight.
    Biggest fight for me!!!!

I don't think Penn is in St-Pierre's head. Georges is much better mentally than he was before. You can see that since his loss to Serra. He has completely demolished all of his opponents since the Serra fight. You can also say the same for BJ. He's never looked so good. I expect both fighters to come in well prepared and in peak condition. Should be fight of the year.

St-Pierre dominated Koscheck. I don't recall Josh winning a single round.

I finished watching that first round, and GSP lost it, you can argue he did take it, but in my opinion, not biased, Kos did take it.

edit : Even two judges did give it to Kos. So my memory is pretty good:rasta:rasta:rasta
So I did not invent that that GSP said it himself he lost the first round and he needed those last two round fair and square!
If I can found that interview, I'll post it

I think mentally, perhaps if anything BJ does have the advantage. I think confidence is the main difference here. BJ is naturally a confident dude we know that. GSP doesn't strike me as a very confident guy really. BJ is good at getting into peoples heads. Even the fans who just watch the sport.

I'm still not a hundred percent sure that GSP has forgotten the loss to Serra, even though theres nothing to prove it. Just my opinion.

GSP completly forgot that loss to Serra.
Before Serra 1, GSP was banging just 2 girl at the same time
After Serra 2, rumours were said he was banging 3 girl at the same time:deal
If its not confidence, I dont know what it is:yep
He hangs in some of the clubs I go

Then he must've meant that up until that point in his career when he fought BJ, he hadn't lost a round :deal

Really? I don't remember Josh winning that round. I think he took St-Pierre down with like a minute to go?
