Ooohhh...Good call. He can def. end a fight with one shot out of nowhere. And the dude will probably be getting carried out on a stretcher.:yep

There's no way Zab rates higher, Gamboa is highly questionable.

Abraham makes people blackout with one punch, literally.

A thread yesterday had a highlight of Zab's several fights on HBO, and reminded why I always liked Zab win, lose whatever. He has one of the by got damned upper cuts I've seen. Especially when you look at the speed combined with the timing and accuracy.

Zab may very well be faster and more accurate.

Theres just no way he makes people blackout like Abraham does tho.

Take a peek at Abrahams fights, the last time I saw someone do that to their opponents was Gerald McClellan and Julian Jackson. That says a lot about Abraham.

I wouldn't put him on the level with those two.

Unlike them, he doesn't throw every punch with serious intent, so I'd have to agree with you. Although, he's got that magic in his hands, like them. :smoke:good

Zab?That's laughable. And Gamboa hasn't fought on the elite level yet.
Anyway Pacquiao and Abraham would be there IMO.

Abraham's best opponent to date was Edison Miranda.

Abraham's last 6 opponents had a combined KO ratio of 49.73%. That includes Miranda whose KO ratio is damn near 80%, and Marquez who sits at 61.7%, but spent his best years at 154 and has NEVER KOed a middleweight. If you take those two out of the equation, that 49.73% drops to under 40%.

For reasons I've never understood AA was allowed to side step the hard banging Fulgencio Zuniga who has KO's in 19 of his 22 wins. Zuniga was the rightful mandatory, but Arthur was allowed to fight Elvin Ayala who has a KO ratio around 32%.

Just a few things to consider when you talk about Abraham's chin and power.

Quite possibly, least he is right up there.

Not really sure how you judge physical strength? Sure AA looks like a solid muscular guy but without seeing them lift weights I dunno...

Pac close but not quite got same one shot power. Think Adamek and Froch, while limited and beatable boxers have these qualities, and someone mentioned Urango which is a great shout.

Juan Manuel Lopez looks to have the 1 shot power but not seen enough of him to judge his chin, anyone seen him take a decent shot?
