I was one of his biggest hater. Yes, I still am. But watching thing from a different perspective. Yes he was badly exposed as a joke vs Petruzelli. But he still lasted 3 rounds vs James Thompson even if it was a bull**** stoppage and Thomson should have won on decision. But the ref stoled Thompson

It's a pretty good achievement. James Thompson, even if he aint very good, he is still a professional mixed martial artist who is doing that work for a long time.
Thompson would still give an ass whooping to 95 percent of random person in street or bar. Props to Kimbo to do that at his advanced age, and with not a lot of training.

Do you give him props to do that?
Forget his delusional stupid wanksta ghetto fan over youtube.

I give Kimbo props for everything he's done. I have no reason to hate on him. If they want to use him as a cash cow, good for him. Don't hate the playa, hate the game!

I see no reason to hate him at all. Kimbo is exactly what it says on the tin. The guy did what everyone else would have done and cashed his chips. I don't see a problem with his career even if he was 0-40.

But do you give him props, for a guy like Kimbo, to last those round with a seasonned vet like Thompson, even if its Glass Thompson?

Scurla since you have a plethora of knowledge on the pride fighters.
How would Fedors brother do in UFC? He does seem to have heavy hands.

I give him props..Though i may change that if he doesnt return to the ring..You cant just throw it all in after one devastating defeat(especially when new to the game). Says alot about ones character when responding to a recent loss.

I have to dissagree with the thread starter as i think Thompson was out on his feet and there was time left to recieve a few more blows that would of ended the bout..

I think his most impressive accomplishment was actually his fight with Mercer, he was not afraid at all standing, and with no real background in wrestling or grappling managed to take down and sub a world class boxer, even if he was well past his sell by date.

Kimbo surprised me. I respect what he's done in MMA. He treats the sport with honor and dignity. And I admire that about him. I have no problem at all with Kimbo.

Have a look at records and youtub........you will see what Fedor is all about.........never been beaten, and dominated all before him.

Bar one bogus decision when they stopped the fight becuase of an illegal cut.....or the no contest......the man up intill now is the greatest MMA fighter ever.

Kimbo is a Glass Jawed joke. There is no other way to put it.

The guy made some money and milked the public but that all came to an end when his Glass Jaw was shattered by a Light Heavyweight who was going backwards on one foot and KOed Kimbo with a jab.

That had to have been embarrassing.

I would like to see Kimbo take a shot in the chin again to see if the first one was a fluke or if he is the proverbial candle in the wind.
