While I agree with the Rings idea of having 1 proper world champ for each division, I don't think they're doing it in the best way. Their rankings often seem a bit odd (like making Gavin Rees, who's done **** in his career, no 3 light welter after an upset win over M'Baye). Just because they say 2 guys are the top 2 doesn't make it the gospel. I think they should add unifying the big 3 belts to the way to win the Ring belt, as it's so stupid not to have a guy with all the major belts as champion just because he didn't quite fit the Rings criteria.

 

yeah and thats why darsoftchinyan is moving up to bantem after this fight cause he knows if he stays at 115 donaire will ko him again.

Five years ago The Ring did have it as part of their championship policy that if you unified the three main belts you would get The Ring belt. Not entirely sure why they stopped it.
