Who do you think has a less than stellar record but it simply doesn't do them justice. I'd go with Emanuel Augustus.

Plenty of older fighters have records that on paper look mediocre. But having 20-30 losses isn't particularly a mark against a fighter who fought in a talent heavy division where trilogies were extremely common, fights were taken on short notice, and fighters in general fought several times more then current fighters.

Glen Johnson's record on paper definitely doesn't look as good as the fighter he became.

Cristobal Cruz, the IBF FW champ is the world title holder with the most losses currently. His record is 37-11-1.

:huhThat's a pretty typical record for a lot of the old time greats (especially ones who fought that level of opposition and fought late into their careers), it's not a bad record by any standard.

:huhHow does Margarito have a bad record? Judah's record is probably better than his ability suggests to be honest, not much different than Baldomir, who's a B level fighter by any standard.

I could see the case for Johnson I guess, though I think it's overblown.

I know,it's just not that typical for nowadays.Anyway going just by no of losses he had somewhat more than others.Joe Louis had only 3 and fought long after his time.
