Pay no attention to that moron alpha male. There are numerous good posters on this thread who are hoping to see KP come back from his loss with a vengeance, and go on to do great things. Send me a gum sheild from the Rubio fight. I'm sure Kelly is going to knock at least one into the front row:yep
Yes sir! I agree totally. You always know your **** and would love to see ya up in here givin' hell with Boo, Hermit, and myself. J-Simps deserves a good mention to the team.
Man, Jack has raised him as a fighter, they just had an off night, it happens. Plus, Kelly would never leave Jack after all he's done for him, gurantee that.
No ****! It's quite rare that a talentless boxer becomes THE MW Champion of the World. It's these Calzombies have always been jealous of the attention Pavlik recieves, but damn, the guy takes risks and all but one fight has demolished his opponent. One off night against an ATG fighter that just happened to have his self proclaimed "best performance of his life", hardly means **** to be honest. He will watch the tapes, learn from what he may have done wrong, and he and Jack will work it out. Bet that ass on that.:deal
Ever since the McKart fight I've been telling anyone who would listen about Pav's potential. Some kind of "dream team" similar to what BHop does would be just the ticket. Keep Jack as the head trainer, keep the Iron Man gym guys; I think that's essential to Kelly's style, but just add in some real brainy analyst.
Exactly. You have to keep Jack because only Jack can motivate Kelly enough & push Kelly to the limit. If Jack isn't there, whoever the next trainer is, Kelly wont have that same kind of trust & confidence that he has with Jack. & Kelly needs lots of confidence at this moment in his career. Jack needs to always be there, even if he steps down as to assistant trainer, Jack NEEDS to be there.
No **** it's rare. It's nothing like Froch or Abraham who fought nobodies and won vacant titles. I wonder how many of these boneheads are aware of Pavlik's amature background. You don't go 89-9 over 9 years and win national championships by being a one dimensional plodder. That ya do with skill!
Froch, Abraham, Kessler & Bute won their titles from nobodies. At least Pavlik beat the man fair and square for his titles!
If that could work, yeah, maybe. Jack would have to be part of the deal, or no deal. IMO, if Pav would dump Jack I would lose a good bit of respect for him, because Jack got him there where he is, and other than a couple of bumps in the road, rather easily until he got in with Master Hopkins. Good learning experience for both the young fighter and Jack. They'll work it out.
