I agree, he can be the champ at 140. If not, then lets forget Pac-Hatton.
IMO, 140 is the highest where Pac can really be competitive so at 147 perhaps the question should be who are the boxers that Pac can possibly beat?:good

This is p4p one of the worst posts of all time.

He is comparing Margarito, who has practically cleared out at 147, to a journeyman in Baldomir. I almost stopped reading at that point.

Cotto would do a skin job on Manny Pacquiao as would every other 147lb fighter in the top 10. This isn't a critics opinion, it's the smart one.

Some people on this forum need to wake up.

Logically, all the top Welters would beat him.

But seriously, in my mind, he has a chance at accomplishing whatever he wants.

If Pacquiao steps in the ring with Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, or Mosley, Manny will most likely not have any fans left on ESB. The beating would be severe.

That isn't even a criticism. Manny is not a 147lb fighter, but as long as people are talking about Manny being a force at 147, I will be quick to dismiss that crap. It ain't going to happen.

    fair enough...

OT - Nice avatar you have there JM22..actually I'm a fan of both marg ang mosley. i guess it would have been a better match up if mosley is still near his prime.

IMO, mosley is close to being called shot. Not yet but close to being shot already...

2009 margo vs mosley - margo wins
    2004 mosley wins

Manny loses to the top-10 @ Welter. Oscar barely threw a punch the last three rounds and people act like Manny did something amazing. It's easy to win a fight when your opponent is just standing there waiting to be hit and isn't throwing anything back at you. Manny won't be so lucky next time should he get in the ring with a Welter that actually wants to win.
