i always liked zab too, when it came to pure styles i thought he had unbelievable talent, his left uppercuts were unreal, especially the one that he rocked tszyu with it was a peach
that fight sums up zabs whole career, rd 1 shows his class and talent and rd 2 and post rd 2 shows his terrible decision making

AA prob does have the best combination of punch power, chin and strenght followed very closely by pacman and vitali

It's not all about KO percentages, though. Pavlik was dropped and badly hurt by a guy with just over 50% KO's.

Certainly in power and chin he has more than a fair chance. Infact, I can think of people with comparable chins or power, but not the combination.

Physical strength...hard to say. He's certainly well built at that weight. But he's not somebody that gets into physical contests too regularly. I would assume he's fairly strong.

    Overall its very possible.

Back to topic...his attributes are very good in all mentioned departments. He definitely has an excellent combination p4p. I hope we'll see against Pavlik or any other decent opponent how good he really is - unfortunately noone with a belt likes to fight him. I'm convinced his career is at the very beginning and there's a lot more to come. He'll also play an important role at SMW.

@Boo: You called him a hype job in one thread not very long ago. I'm sure you - as a huge fan of Pavlik - will see things different in a couple of months ;)

That came from 15 unanswerd shots -- 8 of them smack on flush. Kelly acted like a jack ass by dropping his hands and sticking his chin out.

I have massive respect for Arthur's guts and he's double tough. There is no debating that, but over all I think his chin and power get over rated. Nearly all of the good fighters he's faced made the distance, except Miranda, and AA had to fight him twice in order to score one decisive win.

You forgot the part where that guy beat Hopkins twice, but since you forgot your drool bib, hockey helmet, and spiderman decoder ring, I'll let it slide.

Abraham is pfp the hardest puncher in the game today pfp imo. His defense is up there also. His chin is second to none. Yes, Abraham ranks as the best in those categories pfp over any boxer/champion in the world. I'm still wondering why Pav and Abraham haven't gotten together yet. I know why...Arum!

So what AA had to fight him twice. He had to quiet his critics. Many great fighters fought a man who gave them trouble the first time out. Is PAv rematching Hopkins...? No, why? We all know why. Who is overrating Abraham by the way?

First of all I did not forget the topic, but obviously you did. I mentioned Pavlik only in response to another poster, and you jumped on it. The topic had nothing to do with KP or comparisons between KP and Abraham. I simply pointed out that other than Miranda, and a ring worn version of Eastman, Arthur's team has kept him completely away from anybody with heavy hands. His chin is over rated. The only person who ever really checked-it busted it all to ****.

Arthur has legit power, but it's still probably the most over rated aspect of his game.

Gardner went the distance with AA.
The version of Eastman that Miranda knocked out went the distance.
Shannon Taylor, a guy who Raymon ****ing Joval knocked out, lasted 12.
Kofi Jantua was KOed by an old welterweight, but made 12 rounds with AA.
Miranda went the distance in the first fight and made AA look like something out a fright night movie.

Where was Arthur's much vaunted power in these cases? I mean he couldn't stop a guy that Raymond Joval stopped:patsch

Abraham is my hero! I simply like to watch his fights. The man has it all: one-punch power, can take a punch & good defense, can go 12 rounds, and has a lot of heart! His KOs vs. Gevor and Ayala are really shocking.
Nevertheless he is beatable (like every man): e.g. current EBU champ Gevor outboxed him for some rounds.

In addition he seems to be a humble guy who honors his family and origins (unlike his brother, who seems to be -well- a little bit wild).
