I can't think of any of the top of my head so this probably doesn't help but if you don't include beating good fighter's and just go on what names are on a boxer's resume regardless of result then you will find that there are some decent 'journey men' with terrific resumes.

Hopefully someone with a better memory than me can think of some...

It is Ali, without a doubt. Greater longevity than Leonard, greater depth than Duran.

If you're only looking at wins and not losses or draws, and top 6 wins only, Holyfield has a pretty good case:

    Bowe
    Foreman
    Qawi x2
    De Leon
    Tyson

Morales also looks pretty good if you're only looking at his top 6 wins:
    Pacquiao
    Barrera
    Ayala
    Zaragoza
    Jones
    Kelley

Hard to top Ali here though.

    good lists :good

i'm looking to change the title of this question, getting rid of the 'best' bit.

JUST NAME ME A GREAT FIGHTER AND LIST WHAT HIS 6 BEST VICTORIES WERE.

the more i think about this, the more you realise that there are not many fighters out there who have 6 great wins on there resume.

TYSON - tucker, holmes, spinks, golota, biggs, ruddock

CALZAGHE - kessler, hopkins, eubank, lacey, jones, reid
