There is nothing to be sure if clinching would have helped him.He was dead tired from the 7th.Like there is nothing to tell us he wouldn't have KO'd Margarito with 1 punch swinging from the other side of the ring.We can't know.
That's very respectable. Im starting to like him a little now. Can u imagine hatton with that kind of mentality? Only then he wouldn't be the most boring fighter of the decade.
There is something that would tell us that he wouldnt have KO'd AM with 1 punch. HE HIT AM WITH NUMEROUS PUNCHES ALL NITE AND COULDNT EVEN HURT HIM!!!!! And if he would've clinched, he wouldn't have been running so much or taking as much body damage early on in the fight, which would've helped him out in the later rounds.:good
That was the gameplan,to use the legs.Obviously it failed. He kinda needed the loss anyway(not saying it's good to lose) but he was really getting cocky, waving his hand after he landed a punch on Margarito early one and he was like very ****ing cocky with Gomez and all.He will be hungry now.Clinching might be what he needs to do more in the rematch.But......if his stamina is the same it won't matter. He can't be dead tired mid fight or it don't matter how much he clinches he will still lose.
Hell yes, who the hell does he think he is? Waving his hand after he lands a punch, like the judge didnt see he clearly landed it.
It's gay, very gay,Evangelista get's off touching his ass. What do you think? If he hasn't sacked him it's just as usual, business. There were talks of Cotto changing trainers but he said he gets along great with Evangelista.
I havent heard him say that. Last thing I ever heard was that he & his uncle didnt talk, that just went to work, but they didnt even say a word to eachother.
It's not like it's ****ing rocket science. He just needs to do what he did the first 6 rounds in the latter rounds aswell.Box,move, phase himself better, place his shots, turn him more, clinch.
